Would you trade an iPod for a Zune?

Hey guys, my 80g ipod crapped out on me. Its the second one Ive had in less than a year. I got it from Best Buy and purchased the extended warranty with it for 2yrs. They exchanged the first one I had after only 3mos of having it and minimal use. Now, my second one has had alot more use, but Ive had it 5mos and its dead. The d@mn thing freezes for 2 or 3hrs at a time and wont work.

I asked if I could trade it for a Zune. They didnt have a problem with that. It would be the 120g since they go off the value of the item at the time of purchase. Would this be a wise move? The Zune offers wireless internet, full screen visibility, and you can load standard MP3s and videos onto it.

Thoughts? Trade or stick with the iPod?

thats crazy, i got my ipod years ago and its still going strong. "knock on wood"

i dont know much about zune, but the extra gigs and wireless internet is cool

you might just be getting a bad batch.. if you had an 80gig classic then the zume will be a big step up.. its a little different controls and doesn't integrate with things as easily.. meaning in the car you have to select songs on it.. it doesn't integrate with the radio as easily unless you get a ford which has the new microsoft thing in it

ipods are the shit. Maybe overpriced, but name technology that isn't.

i love my 30gb ipod video. i bought mine when they were first released and mines working just great. the headphone jack thing crapped out on me but i easily replaced it since it was way out of warranty. right now, it's in my glove box hooked up to my 9887.

i'd rather keep an ipod over a zune. and as for having to use Itunes for your ipod, you have to go through the same bullshit with a zune and their software.

Ipod with Rockbox. Pretty sure that the Zune doesn't have lossless support, yet.

Have had my Ipod going on close to a year with no problems what so ever.

itunes>zune software by far!! when i had my zune i HATED the software, so much that i didnt even bother updating my music! I personally like my ipod more, see if you can get a different ipod instead of the classic, i love my 8GB touch, and my old 4GB nano was really cool too (the newer ones)
