my brother had a 96 it was a pos from the start. he did buy it used for some reason the car would not die even after a timing belt issue. the transmisson was slipping for 2 years no lie the over drive was messed up. it need new brake lines thats all over the 2-3 years . not one oil change was done ,op u might get lucky if u take care of yours.
