Hey guys I have a monsoon sound system in my 01 jetta and i have the amp mounted in the trunk and it runs to the speakers throughout the car. I was wondering if it'd be possible to get another amp and have it power subs, while leaving the monsoon amp powering the speakers?

Most likely. Get a line out converter and tap in to your high level signal. Then run rca's from the loc to your amp. Give it power, ground, and remote and you're dancin'.
