I'm looking at a car to buy, but to buy this car, I'd need to sell mine. I haven't seen the car yet, and I may not end up wanting to buying it. You think if I put my car up for sale and someone came to check it out and they said they would buy it for sure, and then I look at this car and decide not to get it or sell my car would be bush league?

If it's for sale, sell it. If it's not for sale keep it. Don't waste someone's time, though, if you're not for sure going to sell.

Yes its a dick move. Don't waste anyones's time. I'd be pissed if I drove 30 or so miles to check out a car I was seriously interested in only to find out its not really for sale.

Just tell them plans have changed and you are going to void the contract. You dont need to tell them why so its no big deal

Nah im not a tool, Ive grown to relize every car is always a great deal. Im not kidding either

I was gonna go buy a BMW 325ci for $10K cash ,80k miles 2002 model

great deal

but then I saw a 02 7 series for $20k both are great deals

I also just picked up a 95 accord for $1k great deal

just say it sold if you don't want to sell it anymore. that's what some guy did when i went to buy his car. i knew were he lived because i saw the car on the side of the road by his house and it was also in auto trader.
