get rid of my older type R...its like an '04 in a ported box 4 cubes, in a jeep grand cherokee....to get a 2006 model type r.....15's im talking about by the way.

would it make any difference in sound...

hmm....what am i lookin at for a 15" shipped and do they have a model that can be wired to 1 ohm?

if you look around they go for about 215 + shipping, so around 240 shipped. If you get the dual 2 ohm version it can be wired at 1 ohm

i had a 12" 04 type r and ran it for a while, but then my friend sold me the 06 model for $85. So i switched the subs and when i heard the 06 one, i instantly could tell a difference in the sq. It sounded "cleaner," meaning that the sub would hit the notes with more accuracy and it overall sounded better.
