Would an Alpine PDX 1.1000 be Enough to Push Two Type-X 10's?

I have a completely restored 1965 Mustang that I would like to put a custom stereo in. I was able to pick up a pair of two Alpine Type-X 10's at a good price. I am looking for an Alpine amp that will push these speakers well. I do not know a lot about car stereo systems (I am more of a home theater person) so I am looking for some help from you guys.

1. Would I be able to hook up one Alpine PDX 1.1000 amp up to both of these speakers?

2. I know that these speakers love a lot of power but running both subs off this one amp provide enough power for the speakers to give a good punch?

Keep in mind that this system is going into a classic Mustang. I do not need to push these speakers to their limits as I simply want a decent sounding stereo system for those long road trips to and from shows.

Thanks!

it would sound pretty decent but you would be under powering your subs. Ure going to need a bigger amp or 500-600rms subs to match them correctly. I would say get a better sub rated for 500rms. You could also do a nice 15 with that amp, sound just as good
