Subwoofers compressing the air in the passenger is not what creates sound pressure. If it were, we'd all run sealed boxes with high xmax. Vehicles are so loud because they accomodate 1/2 and 1/4 wavelengths of sub bass frequencies very well. A wall helps reduce cancellation from the rear of the cabin, but also changes the resonant frequency.</p></blockquote><p></p>
