would a ti basket work on an sx motor?

might have to fill the old holes and drill new ones, but that's about it. There is no "drop in recone" for that, you'd have to have a coil former that was long enough to mate up to the cone.

It depends the silver one I have was made for 3 in coil motors and wold work perfect the black 1 I have is for 4 inch coil motors and the bolt holes will not line up.

And as far as a recone unless your really savy psi is about your best option.

so i should keep my eye out for the ones that are for the 3" only? i see them for sale saying that there for three but fit four? but basically your saying since i have to get nothing more than the basket? saying if i found the 3" only one. not having to extend the vc?

I know there are different bolt patterns kinda like lug patterns on a car and the 4 in coil version has a bigger pattern what the exact sizes are I don't know hopefully someone will chime in with the exact #s

ill deffenitly keep that in mind i just really like how ti baskets look i might just go the easier route and go 12 spoke or 4 spoke since its my first sub im building myself. 18? depends who ya get the tc basket from for the bolt pattern. i can machine a adapter plate to make what ever fit though...
