Would a Kenwood 1000W Class D power my 2 Alpine 10" subs?

I was checking some stuff out and I wasn't sure if I needed a more powerful amp to power my subs. The kenwood amp puts out 300x1 rms at 4 ohms but I am looking at getting two 4 ohms subs that need 250x1 rms. So my question is would I need a more powerful amp to run both subs or would this be okay?

Did some reading and if I wire the subs parallel then I can get them at a 2 ohm load since they only have one voice coil so the amp would be able to give them 500x1 at 2 ohms. So I am pretty sure that would be good enough.

It all depends on what your wanting out of your system. I know a guy at work that has the same kind of amp and his wiring is sub par. Not only that his box is made out of plywood. I fixed the wiring and I put one of my boxes in his car and he couldnt believe the difference. Installation has more to do with your system sounding good than how many watts you give it. Just do it right and you will enjoy it to its fullest. Your on the right track and if you have any questions let me know. I know im new here but ive been doing this forever it seems, haha.
