Would a 1000/1 be good for (2) 12W6s?

Sorry eBay is blocked at work which is the only computer I have access to right now. The 1000/1 is about perfect for those subs. Set the subs' coils up in series and wire the subs in parallel for a final 4 ohm load to the amp.
it doesnt matter with that amp. ohm loads arent really that important with jl amps as long as it is somewhere between 1.5-4 ohms. JL's R.I.P.S. system lets the amp supply the rated power to any ohm load in that range. its a cool system. but anyway, that amp would be awesom for those subs.

thanx so much for the input guys!

much appreciated!

it looks as though i will be getting a 1000/1 and a couple of JL 12w6v2s...

THANX!

The only other way to wire them up would present a 1 Ohm load so, yes, it does matter.

read my shit again before you try to out think me. i said it doesnt matter as long as the ohm load is between 1.5 ohms and 4 ohms. meaning that the 1000/1 will give you the same amount of power anywhere in that ohm range. i wasn't relating that statement directly towards this topic.

Read what you quoted before you comment then, coolguy. I told him how to wire it up and your first comment was that it didn't matter. If you were commenting outside the relevance of this thread why quote me? Better question yet is why comment at all? All your post did was add one to your post count and add nothing to the conversation at hand. Bottom line, it DOES matter how he wires them.

would this amp would well with 2 of the JL subs?
