thats part of the problem, hes a very attitude driven 15 year old and ive tried to tell him to move the fuse to the correct location to which he says "its fine" and the second time i told him (yesterday) he said "its been fine so far!!" with a huge attitude and started telling me off in my own driveway when he was dropping the older child off at home. So, even if i ordered him the part, i dont think he'd let me fix it. The stepson got out of the passenger door and i pointed to the wire and said "dude, do you see that? its a pinched positive 12 volt wire and you dont have a fuse under the hood, if this fails you run the risk of burning your whole car to the ground" of course, his attitude kicked in again and his mouth started to run, even saying to me "why are you being a little....?" He didnt say the b word, but it was inferred. At that point i had enough and told him that it wasnt a good conversation path for him to take with me and to get the eff off my property. So that bridge seems burned. Im just worried about my kid being in harms way in his car because of this botched wiring job and gain-as-a-volume-knob setting. Sounds like my worry is justified
