Ok Yea I understand that the doctor made a mistake. Just ****in fix it and be done with it.

If u look in other countries, doctors actually have some respect from their patients, even after they make a mistake. Sitting thru those long surgeries is no cake.

Its more her OBGYN's fault to be honest. It his responsibility to go over that procedure and to have a gameplan of what to do at the time of delivery. Point being, that if the OBGYN had gone over it, they had a game plan to have it done...the "flap" would have been given a small incision and after the birth, repaird. Its MUCH easier to repair a clean cut from an incision that a rip...

But how the doctor didnt realize it was cut is anybody's guess...

his mistake no only cost her 14k in medical bills after the fact, but also much pain and discomfort and tension in her love life. Should the doctor NOT be held responsible for this? While I agree with you to an extent that many are sue happy, but if there was no recourse for this type of negligence then a lot more "mistakes" woould be made. If I was shitting out my Vagine, you are **** sure I expect to be compensated by it. I work hard at my job and so do many others and if we make a mistake, then we are responsible for it in some way. No different when you are a doctor, just because you had years of schooling.

BTW: BoooHooo for those long hours in surgery. You chose the profession, so whine elsewhere about it. i'd rahter have recoure with a few taking advantage of than some witch doctor in a third world nation killing someone and everyone sayin "meh" you did your best even if you ****ed it up. better luck next time.
