Woes of $$$ to college

I just picked up my check, get paid about $10/hr to go to school lol. I understand the financial strain it does put on people though. But in 20 years, that piece of paper will be priceless to ya.

your student loans and grants cant cover enough so you dont have to work so much? Thought that was the point.
A lot of people (myself included) want to get out of college with no debt. I've heard horror stories about people coming out of 4 years of school with over 50k in student loans. Most of which didn't work while they were there and would have changed that if they could go back.

50k of debt is so worth not having to try to balance a 40 hour work week with a full course load at university.
To each his own. I can have a job at my college working in the computer lab, so i would be able to study and do homework anyway, almost every university offers something like this.

when i was an undergrad i had a work study job. Could make my own schedule so that was nice, and yes I was able to study at the same time shich was good.

Another reason to take extra loans is to be able to travel. With the long breaks and flexible schedule university allows it is a great opprotunity to travel as much as possible during breaks and such. A university education is not complete without practical education as well. When i was undergrad i would try to visit a new place/country on almost every break i had longer than a week.

OP. what about pell grants? Those can be as much as 12k a year that you dont have to pay back.
