wisdom teeth gone today.

I had mine removed about 2 months ago.. I had to go back today to have them recut me open and remove a jagged peice of jawbone that was cutting my newly healed gums.

The hardest part was the stress.. I had no pain.. just stress over dry socket, infection, not eating, etc..

Glad to be over all that.. Now I just have to wait AGAIN for my gum to heal..

Me and my sister both actually have 2 sets of wisdom teeth. She had 6 taken out while before they put braces on me a few years ago, they took out my 12 yr. molars so i'd have enough room.

My wisdom teeth came in a long time ago and haven't bothered me.

just had all 4 taken out plus the molar in front of each for 8 total at the same time lol. Feeling pretty good so far 20 hrs later, but i'll prob end up with 8 dry sockets with my luck.

No smoking, no drinking with a straw and you should be fine. I smoked when I got mine pulled:crap:

i had all 4 done at once...i think the dentist was actually gay. I fought to stay awake from the sleepy gas...

Pics of sister?

i have a appointment to get 2 wisdom teeth out in a about two weeks. Did you guys have them put you under when they took them out or were you awake and just had them freeze you up? I'm doing mine with just the freezing but after reading some of this sh!t i'm thinking about getting put under.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Use an oral surgeon, not a dentist. Dentist cut the gums and rip the teeth out, oral surgeons do exactly what they say..... methodical, surgical removal. You heal twice as fast and with little to no pain. Also, dentists only numb you and you have to sit there and go through all that crap. My oral surgeon brings in his anesthesiologist and knocks-me-tha-fauk-out within 2 minutes of sitting in the chair. I wake up ready to stand up and walk to the car waiting to take me home. The best response to "how did your surgery go?" is "I don't know". //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
