ok so im building a wall in a acura integra. 4 15" orion hcca dual 2ohm subs i planned on doing 4 precision power 21400 power class amps. one amp per sub. but there so old school that i cant find the amps, ive got 3 so far and one is busted, so im going to send it back to the ahole from ebay that sent me a smoked amp. so im probly going to run 2 subs per amp and use the 2 good ones i have. ok so heres my question the ppi/precision power pc 21400 its rated at 2 x 350W @ 4 ohms 2 x 700W @ 2 ohms 1 x 1400W @ 4 ohms bridged THD: 0.02% (4 ohms) Freq. Response: 4.5Hz ∼ 100kHz (±0.5dB) S/N Ratio: 115dB Damping Factor: >500 Max. Current Draw: 230A Fuse: External 160A Dimensions: 25.75" x 8.9" x 2.24" (65.4cm × 22.6cm × 5.7cm) Manufactured in 2000 so i guess what my question is is that if the amps stable 2x700 watts at 2 ohms, why is it not stable at 2800 watts at 2 ohms bridged. or am i wrong ? lol
