Getting back into it!
Basically, Liar2 sent me XP SP2 and I guess it sucked *** cause it didn't come with outlook express which is the one thing the guy asked to have on his PC.

I don't really want to reformat since it was such a big deal to get XP on it at all.

I need outlook express, not micrsoft outlook, there is a big difference. Outlook and Internet Explorer are basically intertwined. I guess XP or SP2 has the latest version of IE, but when I try to install IE 6.0 or even Outlook Express (both saved on desktop right now), it gives me the error:

"Setup has detected a newer version of IE already installed on this system"

"setup cannot continue"

Just like that.

I googled it for awhile and found some weird fixes off the microsoft site, but none worked.

Any ideas?

ALso, I tried to delete IE completely so I could just install 6.0, well, didn't let me.

sorry buddy. I had given you an unattended install XP disc. I must have deleted the wrong image.

Your best bet really is to just format to get all of XP and many of it's annoying features on it. You did say you had about 3 or 4 discs of XP on it. I'm sure they are all good.
