Windows Explorer Problems -- Help

Ok so just today Windows Explorer started being closed by "Data Execution Prevention - Microsoft Windows"

"To help protect your computer, Windows has closed this program.

Name: Windows Explorer

Publisher: Microsoft Corp."

I downloaded AntiVir to run for viruses. Found some so I deleted all them. Well it still closes. But the catch is it will only say it needs to close AFTER I open Mozilla. So I uninstalled Mozilla and downloaded a new one. Same problem.

After I hit close message, explorer shuts down then reloads every ~5 seconds. The task bar goes away then comes back. Programs still run but the AntiVir keeps finding the same viruses even though I removed them..

Viruses: TR/Adload.MAS.6 and some other one that I'll post once it finds another

do you have win xp if so turn off system restore,then reboot your machine ,as soon as it starts to reboot hit the F8 key continue to hit it until you see the option screen where you can boot into SAFE MODE let it boot up in to safe mode then run your antivirus once it is done reboot back into regular mode run the antivirus again to see if it is gone then try opening up mozilla it should be ok then go back and turn system restore back on

Yes, I have XP ( Media Edition 2005). Since I made this thread, Explorer hasn't shut down and restarted every 5 seconds like it was when I was making this thread but oh well.

I'm off to bed though (work FTL) but I'll try it in the morning and let you know. Thanks.
