Windows down

I was listening to my sub last night and I heard the bass notes twice and it sounded off beat. But with the windows up it sounds perfectly fine. Is that normal for different sound when the windows are down? I have an suv with the front of the sub hitting the back.

Usually windows down will yield a louder sound.

oh ok yeah it just sounded like it was getting double bass notes and it sounded offbeat maybe the ricochet off the back and the windows being down.

play this song up loud with windows down. kick drum should be loud and nice and punchy
