Window tinting?

I want to get my windows tinted pretty soon but i have a few questions about it.

1. The most tint allowed in Iowa (where i live) is 30% on front sides and any is allowed on back sides and back window. Is 30% enough? And what should i put on my back sides and rear window? 5%?

2. What would be a ballpark range of the price for a 2004 monte carlo?

3. How long does tint last before it starts to fade, change color, or bubble?

1: for me darkness is not an issue. i tint to make the car look good. a really light front window and a blacked out back window looks tacky. also car color can change the look of the tint, the shape/angle of the window also affects how the tint looks. as in reflects light. etc.

2: depends on the shop/tint. id say 150-300

3: dyed tint fades. its just how dyed film is, it does depend on how much you park in the sun, or which side of the car is exposed more.

metal tint do not fade. they can have a different look, one being refelctive and one more natural

.

ceramic tint is also dose not fade. and also has the most clearest look.

tint should not bubble, its dependend on how well the film is layed.

color change is because of a POOR quality tint, most dyed tint will not change color.

the 3 tints i told you about is the common film of FormulaOne which imo is one of the best films out.

the type you see in other shops will vary, but keep in mind the difference between the different tints. if you want it to last dont get a dyed film.
