Lets think of all the tax dollars wasted on chasing down these "massive drug cartels" who are bringing in hundreds of pounds of HighQual Dro a day $19 Billion dollars was spent last year just to stop all drugs coming into and being distrubuted in the United States. Sure many of it was drugs that no doubt should be illegal such as Cocaine, Meth, Rock, Escatacy, and PCP. However, Marijuana, without a doubt, does not fall under this catagory. In 2004, the number of deaths related directly to Alcohol was approx. 105,000, number of deaths related directly to cigarettes was approx. 365,000. The number of deaths related directly to Marijuana (not murders because it) was 3. Yes, THREE So basically, the reason that marijuana is not legal yet is a multitude of reasons. 1. The Ease of Growth and Distribution of HighQual Green - I used to live in Tennessee and growing Tobacco was some hard work, making beer and alcohol that is about 10% of the strength you can get from the store is also hard, but Tree is not hard to grow at all. 2. The Difficulties of Regulation of Marijuana (see above reason) 3. The so called studies by so called professionals which prove that 5 joints is equal to smoking 2 packs of Marlboro Reds, when in actuality FDA studies (which were "Classified and Black List Documents" until recently) have shown that a daily marijuana smoker of an average of 3.5 Grams (1/8th) a day have less chances of getting lung, throat, and mouth-related cancers than Non-Smokers (non-smokers of anything including marijuana and cigarettes) Congress is scared, Congress is paranoid, Congress is full of old Southern Republicans (like our president) who think that a little green a day is going to make you have the IQ of....our president....and will make you slit your parents throat for $10 bucks to buy 2 grams of schammer from your local mexican bodega.
