Hello,

I have a 1997 Volvo 850 with the factory radio. I'm pretty sure the factory radio is a double-din its pretty big (it has a cassette player). Im looking at getting the Sony Xplod head unit. http://www.crutchfield.com/p_158GT640UI/Sony-CDX-GT640UI.html?search=Sony+CDX-GT640UI&ssi=0&tp=5684) I know that it would not fit in my car like that but if I got this mounting kit would it work?

Also Im looking at getting http://www.crutchfield.com/p_70012BLUEX/Dual-Bass-Package.html sub woofer and amp. would this work? Is it a good deal?

that pocket kit will not work no

for the cost of the sub amp combo its a rip off for 250 u can get a decent sub amp and prefab box on here that is 1000 times better than that.

3A825 use that for 20 off over 100 on crutchfield if you are getting the head unit from them, I know it has some restrictions but cant remember exactly right now, but it worked for me

Why not call up Crutchfield? Talk to Taylor and tell him I (Alex) told you to call him. Nicest guy i've talked to there. He wrote me a thank you card for christmas, and we still keep in touch. I've contacted all of his supervisors and gave them great compliments of how helpful he was.
