i am buying a w7 in a wegebox along with a behringer ep-4000 house amp that plugs into the wall. i will run a subwoofer preout cable from my reciever to the amp so that would be my audio source. the amp would be conneted to the wall so that would be my power source. then i would connect speaker wire from the amp to the subwoofer and then it should work right?

I'd make a new box

it will work but you will want to make a new box that is bigger and tuned really low for HT, around 25-30hz.
