hifonics makes a very solid budget amp. avoid brands like Pyle, Pyramid, Legacy, etc. at all costs. Their products are very sub-par.

Audiobahn is pretty much crap. Promise ya that Hifonics will torch them puppies in a flash if you're not careful. They have sloppy build quality. All they've got going for them is hype.

haha i can honestly say i never liked them they are to freakin shinny an they look cheesy but i can seewhat your saying. at school other then my stuff the only shit people have is audiobahn and they swear by them they are awesome

As far as subs go, I would recommend the Mach 5 Audio MAW 12. At $46 a pop, you really can't go wrong with them. I've got one, and for a $46 it hits hard, deep and clean. I highly recommend them. And with these subs, you can use a cheaper, 1000w RMS amp.

By the way, never ever, ever, ever, ever, ever judge an amp, sub or speaker by its MAX rating.
