I bought 1 of the new 12" L7's and i was wondering if it will hit really hard by itself. i know 2 would hit harder, but with my rice rocket weight becomes an issue. I used to have 2 10" kicker comps with a 170x2 "optimus" amp. I am going to run an L7 off of a rockford bd 500.1 amp. Is this going to be significantly louder, or hit harder than my 2 bottom of the line 10's?

Yes, it will hit far harder, and be far louder than your two 10's. I think you'd be hard pressed to put two 12's in your civic anyway, without taking out the back seats.
