Will these dimension ratios cause a problem?

2.7 ft^3 net volume (sealed) for 2 rl_p 12's.

Based on restrictions in my trunk the dimensions I have are:

14"H x 15.5"D x 31.5" W

This gives a ratio of .89 x 1.0 x 2.14, which is far from the golden ratio of .6x1x1.6

Do you think this will be a problem?

The subs are on the H" wall since they will be back firing. Hence, I can't really go smaller than 14" (or 12.5" internal) right?

The widest I can go is 32.5"

Depth I can certainly play with more. But I can't seem to find anything better.

Any ideas or should I just not worry about it?

Having the enclosure dimensions follow the golden ratio only reduces resonant standing waves to be over lapping. This is not really a concern for bass frequencies or their harmonics. If you're worried about standing waves and need some peace of mind, put some polyfil stuffing in the enclosure as it will do basically the same thing that the golden ratio will do but it will be more effective at damping the resonances.
