Will Polyfill increase or decrease effiency

well, what polyfill does is trick the driver into thinking it is in a larger box...

now, using logic, larger sealed boxes are more efficient. they have less of an air suspension as they approach IB situations. so more efficient is your answer.

dude, you couldnt be more wrong. Polyfill decreases efficiency, it does not increase it. The whole myth that it makes the driver think its in a larger box is not true. What ACTUALLY happens, is that it decreases higher end bass response, therefore making the listener think that they have more lower end bass response, when in actuallity you are losing efficiency. If it increased, why dont all the major competitors of the world use it>? They dont. now while I have read nothing to contradict your statements, it seems as though it can have different effects, depending on density, how it is placed, etc.
