Will New Decks work in GenII Dakotas?

hey,

my buddy has a '93 Dodge Dakota with the bone stock audio exept for the MEI rear 6X9 speakers. If he replaces the deck with like a Pioneer DEH-7400MP, will it fit? The Chrysler deck looks smaller than standard.
