I have 2 kicker 12'' kicker L7's getting 1100 RMS right now. My current amp is 1 ohm stable and I currently have it at 2 ohms. I plan on wiring it down to 1 ohm, which will then give the subs 1500 RMS. All I have in my car right now if a 5 farad capacitor. I dont have a deep cycle battery, HO alternator, or the Big 3 upgrade. Currently I'm not having any problems, just a little light dimming. Will I need a HO alternator and or deep cycle battery when I start to get the 1500 watts RMS?
