Im getting really tempeted to yank my back seat out and grow my box to free up some much needed port area. I know I should have a nice gain in output while maintaining my loved low tunning. My question is.. Will I still be able to switch from G and R's Patiance to Gucci's Coca Coca without changing anything, and have both still sound amazing? Winning a few trophies isnt worth losing that. And with MECA's rule change for next year I should be on the leader boards in S2. My main compatition in my state will have to move up

It will fire just how it is now. I'm just bringing the box into where the back seat is. Expanding it forward. With the amp rack behind the front seat, batteries in the rear floor.

Power limits in Street class. 1500, 3000, and something else. All I saw is the 3K in S2. Fuses and CA still matter also. There is a post over on CACO.

Ill get some pics but its a Scion tC. The box now(in avi) is about 5 cu w/ports, 2 4 inch areos. It maxes out the hatch. Ill gain about 4 cubes overall to work with. I was thinking going 15s and using it all but I want to stick with 12s.

Why not just 1 15? I'm doing a box for a single 15, 3 cubes with 2 4in ports tuned to 30-31hz. The box is just over 3.6cu/ft on the inside, measures 30w x 22d x 12h on the outside. Just because you have x amount of space to work with doesn't mean you should use up all the space. Its all about directing the airflow up front to pressurize the front where the meter is.

If you do choose to ditch the back seats, have you considered an 18?

I tried a single 15.. the 2 12s had a much better outcome. The airfow is good, it does hair tricks, not crazy ones but it does move air. I just know with more port area I can gain a few dbs. I wont bust 50s but it should get up there

I just dont want to lose the SQ you know. It sounds good across many types of music and I listen to them all

i tried a XL 15 in it.. the 12s where better. You could tell they had a nice CA advatage
