So it isnt car audio but it is worthy of a review.

Shortly said I dont think an XBox 360 or PS3 is worth the extra $200 + to me.

When I first saw it I was like "That's gay" but it turned out to be quite awsome. A few hours of playing zelda and I was getting into it. It takes a while to get used to but it is supremely awsome once you get the hang of it.

For driving games I will stick to PS2 but for RPG's and sport games the Wii owns. We played Wii Sports and got addicted. Tennis and bowling my two favorites, Baseball being hard to time it with a TV. I bowled a 210 which is far from realistic. Tennis was fun but quite basic untill you get a good match going. Golf is a joke...I couldnt figure it out for the life of me. All of my practice strokes would be good but then I would do it and give it way too much power and curve it every time. Boxing is akward but fun.

Raceing games, on the other hand, are a joke. Just not enough responce from the movement of the Wii tosteer accurately and if you steer too far you will start to go the other way because of the design of hte remote.

If you are just looking to play some fun games with a new type of controller the Wii is the system for you.

Did you play with a friend? Could you stand far enough apart without hurting each other?
I was wondering what kind of feedback the controller? Does it vibrate?
You don't have to have enormous movements to utilize the controllers, in fact they are extremely accurate and quite flexible in terms of style of gameplay.

I only saw the commercials where they were swinging pretty big. Does all the fools who through the remote into the TV really have a claim? Is playing that intensive?

You dont have to swing big, It doesnt base it's power over how big of an arc you can make. Think of a 5 year old playing compared to a 6 foot man. I bowled just as powerfully and acurately just moving my elbow and wrist as I did moving the whole arm.

The strap can be tightened so that it is pretty hard to lose. Even still if you arent some hyperactive idiot it's pretty hard to drop the controller or throw it. Even harder to brake the strap like some of the claims have been.

Game play in zelda is pretty intensive once you get into it but I still couldnt see how anyone but someone who needs a serious dose of ridilin could have chunked it so hard that it brakes the TV or w/e. Hitting friends on that one isnt a biggie because it's one player.

We had three people playing tennis in a space probably 12 x 8 with out any problems.

i definately think wii is in a category all of it's own.

i'm picking up both a wii and xbox 360 with christmas money. xbox 360 is so i can play all the new next gen games, but i'm buying my wii more as a party system. if i have a party with 20 people, there would probably only be like 4 or 5 other people that are into halo and related games as much as i am, so they wouldn't all want to play that all night.

but who wouldn't want to play super smash brothers melee, or warioware? or games like all the wii sports games?

i'm picking up my wii next week and i'm excited for it.

Xbox360 core is only $50 more, and the premium $150 more //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

I got my Xbox360 premium for $50 more than the Wii... so I'm happy.

But you dont have super spiffy controllers or Zelda. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

I'm gonna wait a few months untill the price of the Wii drops even more and grab one on sale. Untill then it's PS2 for me.
