if its her money that she has earned, let her worry about whether or not she can get one. not like you could change it either way.

btw, is your daughter an older spoiled brat that is going to be screaming to daddy, or is she young enough that she is just going to dad asking for something? if it is the former, she is spoiled and should be smacked, if it is the latter, how did she get that kind of money???

i dunno, i used to ride my bike to the mall. my parents used to make me go get anything i wanted, otherwise i had to wait until it was convenient to them...

then again, my parents also sent me on my bike with $2000 cash to buy them rolling stones concert tickets when i was 12 years old...

check out walmart. we get them threw ups they have to be checked in. we get about 4-8 and thats for most of the stores. they are checked in threw reciving and they hit the store by midd morring or the afternoon hours. cuz most of the ups trucks come threw all walmars in the morring. so make nice with the dept manger of the electronics. and find when they get thers. we get them tuesdays and some wenesday

Anyhoo, went on a quick local search..

Gamestop had none

Walmart had none

Target had one so we grabbed it.

She is playing it now.. There goes $300 haha Wii and one game.. oWell, she is only young once, and Im sure we will get plenty of use out of it. She even offered to trade in her DS to get it.. I told her no that the Wii couldnt go in the car.. she replied Thats OK, we can put a TV in the car too! Sheesh man! Then I thought about it, and figured how much fun it would be to get knocked in the back of the head with a Wii controller while driving hahahahha

The wii can be fun for you as well. The bowling is pretty fun for kids of all ages. Bowling is nice with the wii mote in one hand and a cup of beer in another.

She has ben taught how to save money, and all of her birthday, Christmas money goes to the bank. Along with that, each kid gets $25/week deposited from our paychecks.. You'd be amazed how fast that adds up!

college, down payment on their first home, whatever. They dont spend that much of it. We might cut them loose a couple hundred once a year or so.. The rest keeps on building in the ol account.

they are still in demand, but with out it being xmas, they are easier to get now with out getting into a fist fight for one. they are hit or miss now.
