Message: <blockquote data-quote="akheathen" data-source="post: 7910644" data-attributes="member: 629234"><p>first, try your usb drivers, and see if they were recently changed.  if so, roll them back.  next, when installing anything that is kind of old tech, you have to install as administrator in compatibility mode, then apply compatibility mode when you go to run the adapter. make sure that you can actually communicate via usb, not just charge.  the usb has a dedicated 5v power supply circuit in it, which can charge/power anything usb, within power limitations, but that does not mean that the usb is working.  it was probably just an update that knocked it out.</p></blockquote><p></p>
