Wifes in the slammer!!

Addicts have to WANT to beat their addiction (they are never cured by the way) otherwise you will get to a point where you will decide it is time to go your own way.
I 100% agree with you. We both have our own addictions and neither one of us will kick them until we want to. Nonetheless I would never leave someone when they are down and out. It’s not in my nature. But you are correct it does slowly corrode a marriage into crap and in time will ruin it. That’s if it’s not already ruined and you’re just holding on as long as you can because that’s all you know. Sometimes hope is all we have left to hold on to these dayz..

Living the same thing bro...wife is a recovering alcoholic...I think what helps is the fact that I do not have the addiction gene...as a Catholic priest we know who works with addicts, two sickies don't make a wellie.
