I just installed a new kicker kx 400.1 amp with a amp kit from rockford with 4 gage wire. I used there rca cables and installed connectors throughout. The problem I am having is every once in awhile my sub will not work. I tested the amp for power and everything seems fine there, it is not going into protection mode. I have 3 led lights on the amp power= green, red= protection, and there is a red led on top that lights up the logo. When all is working fine the green light on the front and the logo light on top are light up but when the problem starts the light on top goes out and the green led stays the same. If I unplug both rca cables from the amp the logo light goes back on then slowly insert 1 of them and sorta twist it at the same time it will kick on and then I can plug in the other and they work fine until the next time they go out. I have tryed a different pair on rca cables and it did the same thing. Any help would be great . Thanks
