I used to like Dell computers, but the more I worked on them the cheaper they started making them and it finally got to the point where I just decided that they were no better in any way than the really cheap computers you can buy at Fry's etc. Their basically just a nicely painted, form-fitted, POS. I'll never buy one. I don't know about the current HP Lineup, but the last couple that I worked on were really cheaply built, NOTHING like they used to be. At the place were the dB-r server is located, there are some old mid-90's Proliants and what not and they are built like tanks, still work great, and weigh about 8 times more than the newer model servers do..... they just don't make servers like they used to. Hell, even home PC's were built like tanks back in the day, I still have a nice functional 8086 machine (for you youngins that's a 8086, not a 80386 or 80586, 686 etc that's the original 8086 processor from Intel circa mid 80's) and it has massive parts, I think the power switch (or you might call it a LEVER it's so freaking big) on the side outweighs my 2008 model laptop...
