the ipod has a cable coming out of the back of the radio and into my glove box if thats what your asking.

check the settings on your ipod..

Equalizer - Flat or OFF

SOUND CHECK = OFF

I don't know the description but it makes everything like bass & treble equal to eachother..

If its on then You'll noticed you'd have to crank up your music louder because it might sound muffled

IIRC sound check makes the volume level of all songs equal so when you go from a quiet song to a loud song you don't get blown away.
