why would a computer search in european

Some how my computer acts like it is in europe is there a way to set this

I dont know if this make sense but like if I search something out it brings up uk sites

if I go to google it takes me to the european version

if I go to sears all of the prices are in euros if that make sense

Nope in the usa

and to top it off it is just the desk top

my laptop hooked to the same router ect is searching fine
