ok well here goes then. They do this body scrub, which is supposed to make your skin really soft and nice. Koreans all go for it every other month or so. Its not expensive, maybe $7. I know a girl who goes for them in the US, and they cost a lot more. Of all my friends in Korea, the only ones who had undergone the scrub were girls. I knew a lot of kids from Scandinavia, and some of them went to the jimjilbang all the time but never got the scrub. It was sort of a joke because people say they hurt, because they basically scrub you down with sandpaper. So one Sunday afternoon, hungover after a long clubbing spree, me and a friend decide to go soak in the tubs and sweat it out in the sauna for a bit. He ends up daring me to go get the body scrub, but tell him i'm not gonna pay for that shit.. he offers to pay if i'd try it out. I say fuk that, it looks like it'd hurt. I counter that if he pays for a massage too, then i'd do it. A massage and a scrub was 50,000 krw, which today would be like $40. I thought he'd say no, but he agreed. Now let me tell you about the experience. There are three massage tables in the corner of the room with some middle aged guys sitting around. For some reason they are the only ones wearing clothes in the whole place, but not much, just some swim trunks and sandals. There were no other customers when i walked up. Of course I dont speak Korean and they dont speak English, but i sort of made a scrubbing motion and he asks "massage" and i agree. He looks at the key around my wrist and takes down the number--your number is like cash for everything in the place and you pay when you leave--and motions for me to get up on the table. I look over at my friend who is cracking up from one of the tubs across the room as i climb up onto the table. i tried to lay face down, thinking it would be less awkward but he yelled at me to flip over. So there i am laying completely ***** on this table. They wear these special gloves for the scrub which are super rough like sandpaper. you can actually see the dead skin coming off you... the guy kept showing me the gloves and i was impressed at how fukking gross it was. They pour hot water on you, so it doesnt hurt too bad in most places but it isnt really pleasant. I say "most places" because there are some places where it hurt. One was my penis. I'm not sure it was intentional or not, but when they guy was scrubbing my stomach he went a little too far and grazed my tip with that shit and it hurt. I flinched and he sort of laughed. Thankfully they dont actually clean your wiener with the sandpaper gloves. He used a soft washcloth for those parts and my *******. Another extremely weird part was when he lifted up my cawk and balls to wash my taint. Thankfully he took off the glove, but that just meant he was handling my bits barehanded. He just picked them up and held them to the side while he scrubbed from my taint up around my hip. Then he moved everything to the other side and cleaned off that side. Other than that it was pretty regular. He scrubbed a shitload of dead skin off of me and then gave me a massage. No happy ending though.
