nobody pays msrp unless ur a sucker and nothing states you have to. The CFC deal should have nothing to do with what you haggle ur price down to. But the first question a salesman asks is if u have a trade it, and being as excited as could be cause ur gettin 3500 for ur POS you say yes. From there the salesman will work numbers which will make u think ur gettin a better deal than u thought. The second part that irritates me is the how dealers are "matching" the CFC trade in on select vehicles. Offering that extra 35-4500 cash back. Really when have dealers not offered this? That number actually coming off the MSRP, putting you at the normal sticker price. Making the cash back deal pointless other than to make u see that ur saving $9000 In reality depending on the car you should be able to get it for $500-2000 under sticker sense the price is just a starting point. But its over looked because the dealer is goin to sell u on the 9000 off msrp before u realize what ur doin there. With all that said u should honestly expect a discount of 9500-11000 or better, depending on ur negotiating skills off of their msrp price. Or $5000-7000 of actual savings. And as far as junking the cars, they are suppose to drain the oil and replace it with water or something. Then run the car until it seizes. From there sell it to the junkyards, and they get to part the car for 6 months then have to destroy it.
