HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... thats really funny. Actually reminds me of something even more disturbing. My wife and I were working in Nairobi last year. In the beginning my wife was working for the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) IRIN humanitarian news office. The whole point of IRIN news is to be the face of UNOCHA in providing current news about humanitarian issues that the United Nations are involved in. She would do research and write articles about many ongoing issues. At one point she could not find much relavent information about a specific topic and when she asked her supervisor where she might find this information (thinking he would refer her to something such as a United Nations database or something of the sort) he told her just to go to wikipedia.. In another situation he called her and asked her if he could have her password to her university account that gave access to the university research databases.. Also, recently i was editing several academic papers, from graduate students and some of them repeatedly cited Wikipedia in their MASTERS THESIS!!!! Thats a HUGE FAIL!!! How pitiful that our research base is being reduced to wikipedia!!
