No parents need to be more involved and you second question reiterated my point - under paid teachers due to underfunded budgets!!!!! "increase in world wide consumption" - consumption hasn't changed; people have been driving SUV's for years; people have been moving further in to the country for years - talk about believing everything you hear; that is the excuse used. As I stated before it used to be a supply/demand state; now it is demand/supply. The supply will always be down to justify the costs. You have it backwards - the housing crisis definitly has something to do with the weakend dollar. But it's not just those that couldn't afford it to begin with that are getting foreclosed on - hundreds of people who could afford it are now walking away from their mortgages cause they are upside down and owe hundreds of thousands of dollars more than the current market price of their home due to the artificial inflation in home prices - which was a direct reaction to the fed's cutting the interest rate. - So yes the gov't is ultimately responsible for this one. They got the praise on the way up, they deserve the reprecussions on the way down!!!! Like I said, I know how to discipline my son and will not resort to physical contact. Again, it is hard to say who is the sheep and who is the idiot from where we are both standing. You believe what you hear on Fox and I listen to CNN.
