I can agree to that to some extent, although it is highly generalized. The current state of affairs, though, leaves no reason to become motivated. It's just like they cut the check to pieces of shit. I'm not broke either, I make a decent wage and save every bit I can. There's people who make their living off the welfare system. Then again there are people who are unfortunate. It would be ignorant to believe that everyone who is poor is poor because of some lack of discipline. I would say a fair amount are, but not all. I get credit card offers, and they offer me rates of like 22%, and a default of 34%. Say I have a mortgage and family, I get injured on the job and am out of commission for 6 months. They don't pay me comp. WIth the average guy that puts him out $25K+. If you put your mortgage on credit with a 20% rate on it you're looking at some serious debt. Is this something that is highly common, no, but is it a general example of things that do happen to people, sure. I don't care how many toilets you scrubbed, or tables you bussed, things do happen to people. Things outside of their will. Peoples parents die without life insurance. People get hurt at work. People get divorced. These all affect peoples lives. What experiences do you have with the types of occurences? CT
