Message: <blockquote data-quote="jrerun21" data-source="post: 3507829" data-attributes="member: 570954"><p>If you have a family it takes a little more than borrowing money for school and rent.  I have friends that still needed handouts while going to school fulltime, and working fulltime.  The problem is the economy, not the person.  That pull yourself up by your bootstraps is bullsh*t if you can't afford boots.  Many of the people on welfare are there because of a poor education system.  Our country tends to invest money in the wrong things, like wars instead of education, or incarceration rather than rehabilitation or social programs.  Not everybody on welfare ravishes the thought of being on welfare.</p></blockquote><p></p>
