For example, going thru a cloverleaf when I&#039;m getting near empty will cause it to come on sooner than it normally would when the fuel shifts in the tank, and even after I straighten out again it doesn&#039;t go off.. It all depends on the situation at the time.. But on average there seems to be quite a reserve when it comes on, and I know exactly where my gauge reads when I REALLY need to refuel.. I don&#039;t go into panic mode when the light comes on since I think 60kms is plenty of notice.. A lot of guys will recommend not going below a 1/4 tank to avoid picking up any dirt that accumulates in the tank, but I don&#039;t think it&#039;s a big deal myself, and it&#039;s just not practical for me..Anything else?
