Why do they just have to sit there...

It's like any other return, you buy it, use it, put it back with all the original packaging. Then you can return it within 30 days. If you go to a super walmart, they usually have lines. It is good to have lines since there will be a smaller chance of the employee worrying about the product. If they ask you if there is something wrong with the product, just say " I need a higher end model and this one's ok, but not good enough." You should be good with the return.
How about, "it was a birthday present but it suxz teh bawwls." Give me cash money *****.

Well my car has been in shambles for the better part of 2 months. I have only been able to work on it and hour here, and hour there. Hard to find time with my school/work, those gotta come first.

But as in NO MUSIC what so ever its been like 1-2 weeks and before that, i only had my 2 rear stock speakers running off the hu. Dude it sucks. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

Hrm even after installing it and everything eh? Like if they see the wires in the back looking used (they will because i will splice them to my harness) they wont say sh!t?
You can't return it if you splice the wires. Get a matching harness from there as well, and then return it...

What's the specs on that box? Looks oversized.

Well i have a harness that will work with that hu. U mean i wouldnt me able to just nigg rid it and twist together the hu wires with my harness and cover it with electrical tape then reurn it? How would buying a harness from there eliminate me having to twist the wires together?

Oh, and the box is 2.25 @ 32hz. Its not oversized.

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif If you buy the correct wiring harness then you just connect it to your factory harness and eliminate the splicing all together... Maybe you do something different?

And no, its deffinitly not oversized. It looks MUCH larger, I guess because its so wide.

Yeah i know what your talking about. I have a harness that plugs directly into my car's harness. But i have to attatch the wires on the hu to the harness that plugs into my car, thus i would have to splice them together, thus making them look used?

Are we talking about different things?

No, we are talking about the same thing. You just are doing something wrong.

The harness connect to the head unit, it plugs into the harness it comes with. Then that harness connect directly to your factor harness... I have never spliced wires for a head unit installation that I couldnt find the correct harness for.

HU Harness--> WalMart harness compatable with your vehicle--> Factory harness

Even I had to splice from HU harness to walmart harness. The walmart harness doesn't have harness on the other end, just several loose wires.

I did see a Pionner -- > GM harness for about $20-30 somewhere. I forget where but when I upgrade probably next year, I will most definitely try to find them. I thnk schoshe makes it.

Ok i kind i know what your saying i think were just havving a communication barrier, either that or im retarded. They way i wire them is the way ive always seen it done, even at car audio shops. So i take a harness that plugs into the car factory harness such as this...

But those wires coming off the harness need to attatch the the wires coming off of the back of the HU correct? The only way to do this is to splice them....

Oh ok so the harness you are talking about plugs directly into the back of the hu then directly into your car? So you just unplug the harness that the hu comes with with all the loose wires at the end and plug the new harness in, plug into car and your good to go? Wierd ive never seeen these before.

Does wallmart sell these harnesses you speak of as well?

I just looked on their site and it doesnt look like they have them avaliable for you year Ford //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Although, CC carries it. You could do the same thing with CC and return it. I believe it's 30 days on returns..

Or, buy the crappy head unit from Wal-Mart and then get the harness at CC and keep it for your new head unit.
