I don't think it's so much to blame a single for crime. Yes it is more common to see blacks committing crimes, however, that does not simply mean it is because they are black. You have poverty, a society that is still to this day racist, and a lack of upward mobility of blacks getting high level white collar jobs. White Americans have held on to key political positions, company ownership, and banks. This causes a lot of people (not just blacks) to be stuck in their social classes and with no where to go. The blacks that are in poverty are just trying to survive. If I was in there position, I'd be selling crack and stealing from the big corporate stores too. Poverty is #1 cause of crime. However, I do feel that blacks have quite a bit of sympathy given to them. Its done politically, economically and can be seen every day. I hate hearing "Blacks have been put down for so many years." or "they don't have rights like us." It's simply not true. I'm not a racist person and I feel it would be very hard for me to be one. I just think people just need to cut the bullshit and see that the person next to you is a human just like you. Criminal or not, they just want to survive (that excludes gang bangers, murderers, and corporate scum of course.
