Why America doenst care about 9/11

O god...all this darfur bullshit... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif
Why don't you look up how much ****ing aid we actually give them? Heres a hint, it outweighs every other country's contributions. But ya know what happens? Their asshat of a leader steals it. What would you like, a military operation...similar to Mogadishu in the 90's that the clinton admin ****ed up? Or how about (imagine this) Iraq?
Personally, I don't even think we're in a place to do anything about it, that wasn't my point. Seriously now....no one's ever cared so much in the history of the world about 2000 people dying...get over it.

How about Pearl Harbor? I think that was a tad bit more important that New York, Penn, or Washington on 9/11....

Hmm, and look what we did, destroy a country, or at least a part of one.

9/11...we destroy another country, and this time one that didn't even attack us in the first place (granted we didn't nuke them, but I bet bush would've if he thought he could get away with it...and I'm sure there were plenty of ignorant *** americans who thought we should)

Either way my point was...seriously comon, we have bigger issues than 9/11. again, get over it.

Did you forget the half a million soldiers, sailors and marines that fought to achieve that victory? Do you NOT grasp how much of a threat japan became? Or how about Hitler...? Heres a tough one for ya...I bet you couldn't rattle off why japan attacked us?

I'm sorry, but 9/11 abso-fuckin-lutely FAILS in comparison to Pearl Harbor...

but americas retaliation to pearl harbor could be considered the largest terroist attack in history. killed over 70,000 people instantly, then did the same thing 3 days later in nagasaki, people are still dying from that.

To be honest I could care less at this point about either of them...but the point is someone felt this was a thread that needed to be made, and there were plenty who agreed...which I think is ridiculous, and I also very much dislike the idea that America gets to decide what's best for the world...why the hell should we have the right to invade iraq on suspicions of having nuclear weapons? Why do WE get to decide who can have them or not? Do other countries not have the same mentality as us? If we see them as a threat, I'm sure they see us as a threat, and according to that type of thinking, Iran or North Korea SHOULD nuke us if they get the chance...and its this kind of "we're better than them" thinking that causes so much violence and hate between countries in the first place...

It is actually one of the greatest and most noble tactical attacks of the 20th century. As the US and Japan were prepared to go to war, it was expected that upwards of 5 million people would be killed in combat. Some make the argument that those who die were willing participants, but this was not the case in Japan: there was a draft where men from 15-60 and women from 17-45 were to be drafted. The bombing of Nagasaki and Hiroshima saved more lives than it took.
