Why a dual 2.5 sub? RE MT

Well I bought two RE MT 15s of the net here about 4 months ago. Was told they were both dual two, well one of them reads dual 2.5? I have never even heard anyone talk about a dual 2.5 sub. On there site they mention nothing about having an option of dual 2.5. The sub works. So does anyone know reason of why you would want one? Also pm me if interested, I cant afford the electrical to power them both. Thanks!

mine were dual 2 and read a little higher...idk why...but i have all new dual 1 recones, hopefully theyll all be DUAL 1 lol.

My Death Penalty reads 2.4

and its dual 2

no its standard. dual 1 is actually .7ohm and dual2 is 1.4

yes, dual 1 is going to be .7 on the MT's and a good bit other subs, dual 2 will be 1.4s, dont know why yours it at 2.5, dosent mean anything is wrong with it though

have you zero'd out your meter to see what it says first?

yea most meter's read a few decimals high
