well i had an MRI today, and i have to say its not a very good experience. being im not a small person, they stuff u in this tube where u ahve about 2-3 inches of space around ur head. i think its like illegal to give it to someone whose claustrophobic without valium my dad said. well, i don't recommend it if you absolutely dont have to do it. to make it worse, i had to have this dye injected into my rotator cuff so that it would show up on the MRI read out. the guy missed the first time, and this needle is 4'' long and goes all the way into ur arm. well he did it finally. then to top it off, while ur in the tube, the machine sounds like a jackhammer right next to ur ear. who else has had to go through this?

i have had 2 one on my wrist and one on my rotator cuff i didn't find it that bad but the day after the area that they put the dye in is pretty sore but thats about it

well, i was in the **** tube for 50-55 mins according to the guy. 4 10 min things, then 3 3 min sessions. i've had a colonoscopy without full anestesia. its weird feeling a rod go up ur ***. if ur wondering what its like, ask superman. i also had a scope, that was also non rewarding. but i think that this MRI sucked pretty bad. the worst though was probably when i broke my hand and the woman tried to temporarily reset the bones, but somehow FORGOT to use the numbing stuff, then injected it through my hand (yes the **** needle came out my palm), then missed again into my index finger until she finally got it right as my hand is the size of a cantelope...

Try having a colonoscopy with severely inflamed, bleeding, and scarred intestines without anaesthetic //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif That's fun ...
hmm sounds interesting. i had colon polyps, does that count? they only used anesthesia right on the like rectum or wte. like local anesthesia or somethin.

Just broken bones here, thank god. any rod type thing going up my *** in the name of anything even medicine ill avoid. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

heh, when I clicked on this thread, I was thinking military food...MRE's...I'm a dumbass.
oooo MREs are good! when i was like 13, i bet my mom that i could eat a 12 pack of them for 12 nights in a row, and 3 of the 4 meals were actually really good but the 4th was one of the most disgusting things i've ever eaten haha and i had to eat it 3 times...

i dont know, most likely, i got mine from this catalogue called Cheaper Than Dirt, it had a bunch of cool old surplus stuff, i don't think they have that kind of MREs anymore... oh well...
