So, today, trying to fix my alternator whine problem.. by grounding a RCA. Supposed to strip a piece of the cable and wrap it, ground it to either the HU or the chassis. Sure enough, I cut right through the god****ed right channel front RCA female adapter on the HU.
There are two cable groups, one I suppose ground that wraps around a smaller gauge in the middle that's wrapped in some sort of white insulation. Tried fixing it myself, and you can hear a little out of it but it's hella quiet.. I didn't solder it, that might solve it completely. Nonetheless, anywhere I can take this to get it repaired?
